Farrah Fawcett started her modeling career in Corpus Christi in Texas. In her long and distinguished career she was nominated 4 occasions for the Emmy Award, six for the Golden Globe Award. Farrah Leni's Fawcett started her career by appearing in commercials for television. The TV shows she has appeared on include 'I Dream of Jeannie, The Flying Nun" and other shows. Her debut film role was in the role of a support in a French film titled 'Love is an Funny thing.' She became internationally known for her famous red swimsuit poster, which later became the most popular pin-up-themed poster ever. Her name was placed as number 26 on TV Guide's "50 Greatest TV stars of All-Time'. At the age of 59, she was found to be having anal cancer. She passed away three years after that.
