She is known for her role as Marina Cooper on Guiding Light, and Marcy Brender in Dawson's Creek. She appeared on two episodes of the Showtime show Weeds starring Mary Louise Parker. The most famous of her roles is her character Judy Kramer from the 2005 Fox TV series Point Pleasant and Marcy Brender in Dawson's Creek. Three years in the role of Marina Cooper, in Guiding Light's soap opera earned her nominations to the Soap Opera Digest Awards 2003 in the Outstanding Newcomer category. Dollar played in the ABC soap opera Women's Murder Club as Cindy Thomas between 2007 and the year 2008. Dollar starred as Happy Valley, a pilot for NBC in 2012. The show wasn't taken on.
